Circuit training is a form of group exercise in which strength, endurance, and cardiovascular exercises are combined in one session. A number of carefully selected stations will be positioned around the facility using a variety of equipment which may include barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands, stability equipment, benches, skipping ropes and mats. Participants are assigned to each station to perform a particular exercise for a set period of time before moving to the next station. There is little or no rest between exercises which typically are performed for 15 to 45 seconds each. Workouts continue until all exercises have been completed or a certain time requirement is achieved
The short course is aimed towards existing gym-based or exercise to music instructors looking to offer greater variation for clients and provide fun group workouts.
Circuit training is also a great way to enhance your income potential as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
