This qualification is suited to those individuals looking to progress into education and teaching/tutoring roles and employment. It also provides an excellent CPD for those needing confidence in presenting and talking to groups and facilitating learning.
This programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills to be able to educate and train individuals and groups, enter the education sector, understand the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, deliver education and training to individuals and/or groups in an environment/subject in which you are technically competent and be able to understand and support the assessment process.
This qualification is suitable for Learners aged 19 +, those considering a career in education and training, those who already have a role within education and training, who do not already hold an equivalent/ higher teaching qualification and those who are already working as an assessor who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.
This programme can be delivered as a face-to-face course, or via blended learning approach of online learning, tutor support and face-to-face micro-teaching.
Assessment for the course is completed via worksheets and practical observation of the delivery of a short training session.
Following completion of this programme you could progress onto other education and training qualifications such as, but not limited to; Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (QCF) and Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (QCF)
