Traineeships

A traineeship scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for employers and young people currently not in education or training (NEET) to mutually benefit from added skills and a work experience payment.

Our traineeships get you where you want to be, and fast, whether you are an employee or an employer

A traineeship is not paid, instead it is proactive route in to work which includes a mixture of formal skills training, employability training, English and maths and around 100 hours of supervised work experience in a work place. The aim of the programme is to move young people from unemployment in to work by providing them with appropriate technical skills and work related industry experience alongside the all-important soft skills required by employers whilst giving employers a recruitment pipeline for entry level roles in which they have had an opportunity to conduct a 100-hour job interview.

The programme lasts on average 12 weeks with a minimum duration of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months’ which will be decided dependent upon the job role being filled.
