This diploma provides a combination of essential business administration knowledge and skills to enable you to further your career in an administrative environment. You will learn skills such as administering finance and human resource records, collating and reporting data, handling mail, managing diary systems and communicating in a business environment.
The programme is delivered across 12 months allowing you to demonstrate your competence over time and prove your ability to perform consistently. The qualification is valued and recognised by employers and you help you progress in job roles such as administrations assistants, receptionists, secretary and personal assistant. Upon completion of this diploma you could progress onto the Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration or a Level 3 Management qualification.
Functional skills in ICT, Mathematics and English make up the final elements of this qualification. Methods of assessment used throughout the course include completion of worksheets, course work, producing a portfolio of evidence and observations in the work environment.
