A traineeship scheme offers a fantastic opportunity for employers and young people currently not in education or training (NEET) to mutually benefit from added skills and a work experience payment.
Our traineeships get you where you want to be, and fast, whether you are an employee or an employer
A traineeship is not paid, instead, it is a proactive route into work which includes a mixture of formal skills training, employability training, English and maths and around 100 hours of supervised work experience in a workplace. The aim of the programme is to move young people from unemployment into work by providing them with appropriate technical skills and work-related industry experience alongside the all-important soft skills required by employers whilst giving employers a recruitment pipeline for entry-level roles in which they have had an opportunity to conduct a 100-hour job interview.
The programme lasts on average 12 weeks with a minimum duration of 6 weeks and a maximum of 6 months’ which will be decided dependent upon the job role being filled.
